Hue honors Road to Olympia champion Vo Quang Phu Duc

On the morning of October 16, the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien Hue province held a ceremony to commend and award a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to student Vo Quang Phu Duc - champion of the 24th Road to Olympia.

At the final round of the Road to Olympia 2024, Vo Quang Phu Duc led all rounds to win the championship with 220 points. This is the 3rd Laurel round of Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, emphasized that achieving the Laurel Wreath is a very worthy achievement for Phu Duc's efforts. His successes are a strong source of inspiration for other young people.

Sharing at the ceremony, Vo Quang Phu Duc expressed his thanks to the provincial leaders, parents, teachers, and friends who have always cared, supported, and accompanied him in the process of conquering the Road to Olympia in 2024; sincerely thanked the organizing units and especially the more than 8,000 students and teachers who were present at Ngo Mon Square to cheer for him.

Duc shared his future dream of becoming a computer programmer to contribute a lot to the development of technology in Vietnam.
