
Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc, member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union.
The Congress approved the report of the first session's results and announced the list of 50 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Long Ward, term I, 2025 - 2030. Mr. Phan Van Cuong was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Long Ward, for the new term.

The congress of socio -political organizations of the ward also completed the election and completion of the executive committee for the new term.
Speaking at the Congress, comrade Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, dynamism and creativity of the Front and its member organizations in the past time. He affirmed that the new term requires the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of Tam Long ward to continue to comprehensively innovate, promote the core political role in consolidating the great national unity bloc, contributing to building Tam Long ward to develop rapidly, sustainably, civilized and modern.

Comrade Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc emphasized that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Long Ward needs to play a good role as a bridge between the Party, the government and the people. In particular, mass organizations continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, taking people's satisfaction as a measure of operational efficiency.

He also suggested strengthening supervision and social criticism, proactively listening, dialogue, and promptly resolving the people's legitimate thoughts and aspirations, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party, the government, and the grassroots Front system. At the same time, it is necessary to build a contingent of Front cadres with steadfast political will, pure ethics, aspiration to contribute, and a high sense of responsibility, considering this a decisive factor in the quality and effectiveness of the Front's activities in the new period.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City donated 200 million VND to support social security activities in Tam Long Ward. The ward also organized gift giving and scholarships for 17 households in difficult circumstances and 17 students who overcame difficulties to study well, and also awarded 8 groups and 30 typical advanced individuals in the period 2020 - 2025.
