Speaking at the event, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center Hoang Viet Trung emphasized: “In Hue’s development strategy, cultural heritage is always considered a core resource. Heritage is not only a memory of the past but also a resource - the foundation for shaping the future.”

According to Mr. Trung, the big problem for Hue is how to transform heritage values ​​into economic driving force, creating harmonious benefits between the state, businesses and the community. Therefore, this year's forum chose a new approach: considering the private economy as the driving force, heritage as the foundation and Technology and innovation are tools for sustainable development.

Experience digital technology applications at the program

The presentations at the forum affirmed that the cultural industry is the bridge for heritage to enter life. From cultural materials, businesses can create new products and services with local values, from creative design, handicrafts, to smart tourism.

“The young generation of Hue entrepreneurs can turn heritage into a source of inspiration for startups,” said Mr. Trung. “When private enterprises know how to combine creativity and technology, heritage is not only preserved but also “reborn” in modern life, creating jobs for the community and new vitality for the city.”

The forum also mentioned the direction of exploiting heritage space according to the public-private partnership (PPP) model . Accordingly, the State plays a guiding role, ensuring the authenticity of heritage, while private enterprises bring resources, dynamism and innovation. This is considered an important direction for Hue to both preserve its identity and develop cultural and creative industries associated with tourism and value-added services.

Experts believe that in the digital age, data and technology will be the “new oil” that drives economic sectors, including the heritage economy. When heritage is digitized and exploited using modern technology platforms, the cultural values ​​of Hue will be widely spread, while opening up opportunities for creative technology businesses to participate.
