Opening of Ha Long Carnival 2024 with captivating performances

For the first time, Ha Long Carnival organized performances and parades on the sea and on the sandbank of Ha Long Bay with live art performances, 3D Mapping performances, and attractive Drone light performances.

On the evening of April 28, at Ocean Park Beach, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province, Ha Long Carnival 2024 with the theme "Lighting up with Wonders" officially opened.

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Party Central Committee member, Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh; National Assembly deputies; representatives of the Embassies of Laos, Thailand, China, the United States, international delegates; leaders of ministries, central agencies and Quang Ninh province; leaders of several northern provinces along with thousands of people, tourists, artists, actors at home and abroad.

Ha Long Carnival 2024 program includes 5 acts: Ha Long Legend; Fishing Village; Commercial Port; Ha Long Carnival Heritage Dance; Light up with wonders.

The program script is built and inspired by 6 core values ​​in the value system of Quang Ninh province, focusing on the values ​​of beautiful nature, unique culture, and developed economy ...

Ha Long Carnival 2024 has new and attractive features with live art performances and is the first Carnival at sea in Vietnam.

This is also the first time the Carnaval program has organized performances and parades on the sea and on the sandbank of Ha Long Bay with musical art elements, harmoniously combining history and culture to highlight the World Heritage-Natural Wonder of Ha Long Bay at night.

The program brings together creative teams, leading artists and artisans in Vietnam; international delegations from Hokkaido (Japan), Guangxi (China), Laos, Thailand and European dance groups, along with nearly 2,000 actors, singers, musicians, artisans from the Northeast region; amateur actors, domestic and international art troupes participating in the performance.

In particular, the program also includes 3D Mapping performances and Drone light performances (drones arranged in a pattern) showing many typical and unique images associated with the people and identity of Quang Ninh.

Along with the Ha Long Carnival program, on this occasion, a series of unique festival, sports, cultural and tourism events also took place in Ha Long city such as the opening of the walking street and cuisine of Bai Chay ward; sports tournaments; Beer and squid cake festival; Lion, lion and dragon festival; Ha Long city Zumba club festival; Ha Long city modern dance group festival; Tran Quoc Nghien temple festival; Kite flying festival with the theme "Fly high kites of aspiration..."

According to the Organizing Committee of Ha Long City Carnival, this is one of the most unique tourism products, the most impressive street festival every summer that has been maintained and developed by Quang Ninh for many years, leaving deep impressions and memories in the hearts of every tourist when immersing themselves in the festival atmosphere.

At the same time, through the program aiming to build Ha Long as a city of heritage, a city of flowers and festivals, celebrating the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024), the 138th anniversary of International Labor Day May 1 (1886-2024) and towards the 30th anniversary of Ha Long Bay being recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage./.
