- On October 4, Lang Son Provincial Police coordinated with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and Hanoi General Hospital to organize a program to examine, treat, consult and provide free medicine to people in communes of the old Bac Son district.
Attending the program were leaders of the Provincial Police; leaders of Hanoi General Hospital; leaders of communes in the old Bac Son district and a large number of people.
Specifically, the units organized free medical examinations and consultations for people at two locations: Bac Son Regional Medical Center and Vu Lang Commune Medical Station. At the locations, the medical teams and doctors of the units examined and screened for diseases: cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, dermatological, ear - nose - throat, eye, pediatric, nutrition, basic blood tests... for over 1,000 people. At the same time, free medicine was distributed to people as prescribed.
In the program, people are also instructed on health protection, disease prevention in the community, environmental sanitation, as well as provided with knowledge about common diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, respiratory diseases, etc.
This is an activity in response to the program “For a Healthier Vietnam”. Through this, we aim to support, help, and share with people in need of health consultation, medical examination, and treatment, contributing to the good implementation of people's health care, improving the quality of life and ensuring social security.
