The first "Financial Advisor Career Stories" contest was organized by the Vietnam Financial Advisor Community (VWA) with media sponsorship from Investment Newspaper.

FINANCIAL ADVISORY PROFESSIONAL ESSAY WRITING CONTEST

Behind every success, there are thousands of hours of tireless work and difficult challenges. From proud moments when helping customers overcome financial difficulties, to regretful feelings after unsuccessful decisions, each person and each story leaves a distinct mark.

The first “Financial Advisor Career Stories” contest was organized by the Vietnam Financial Advisors Community (VWA) in collaboration with JB Securities Vietnam (JBSV) with the media sponsorship of Investment Newspaper , hoping to open the door to discover emotional stories and connect the passion of people in the same profession. Behind the numbers and charts is a story of a journey of relentless effort and perseverance. They are experiences and lessons - a priceless piece on the journey to reach the goal of improving financial literacy! Each person carries their own emotions, beliefs and dreams, and the contest will be the perfect platform for them to express and spread that.

Participants

● Member of the Vietnam Financial Advisor Community Group - VWA

● Currently working as a financial advisor and has knowledge and understanding of finance and investment..

Event time: From April 20 - May 25, 2024

● April 19: Official announcement of the contest

● April 20 to May 20: Receiving entries

● May 25: Announcement of results and awarding of prizes to winners

How to participate:

● Step 01: Contestants analyze the topic given by the Organizing Committee in the form of: Article. Contestants can write an article sharing the path to becoming a financial advisor, job content, experience in the profession, challenges as well as the attractiveness of the financial advisory profession in Vietnam...

● Step 02: Contestants post articles in the Vietnam Financial Advisor Community Group (VWA): https://www.facebook.com/groups/CoVanTaichinhVietnam in public mode with the hashtag #Covantaichinh #VWA #FINAVI #BaoDautu (Entries without hashtags will be disqualified. Note: Likes and shares will only be counted on posts in the VWA group).

Note: Contest entries may use additional images, diagrams, and charts for illustration.

Competition criteria and conditions:

About the author:

● The Organizing Committee does not resolve complaints or requests to change or add the author's name to the winning work.

● The author does not violate the professional ethics regulations of Financial Advisors, does not violate the Press Law and does not commit other illegal acts.

About the contest entries: Entries for the writing contest with the theme "Financial Advisory Career Stories" must meet the following criteria:

● Contest entries must use clear language, in accordance with Vietnamese customs and traditions. Do not post content that goes against the views of the Party, State, or Government , do not promote any organization or individual, and do not post fictional articles.

● The entry must be a new article, not published/ broadcast on any newspaper, radio or social networking site, and not submitted to another writing contest.

● Contest entries must not be copied from others in any form. If quoted for illustration purposes, there must be clear annotations. Contestants are solely responsible for any disputes, complaints, lawsuits, and compensation claims related to copyright and ownership of the entries. Participants are responsible for the authenticity of the information. If they provide false information to the Organizing Committee , participants will be disqualified or have their prizes revoked at any stage, even after the prize has been awarded.

● The Organizing Committee is allowed to keep the entries and has the right to use the entries for communication purposes.

Prize structure

First prize: 3,000,000 VND in cash and a special gift from VWA

Second prize: 2,000,000 VND in cash and a special gift from VWA

Third prize: 1,000,000 VND in cash and a special gift from VWA

● Top 05 quality entries will be posted on the Investment Newspaper platform (Baodautu.vn, tinnhanhchungkhoan.vn, vir.com.vn) and the VWA website: https://vwa.org.vn/. Introduced on the Finance & Business channel with interviews with contestants: https://www.youtube.com/@TaichinhKinhdoanhTV

● VWA members participating in the competition will be given priority to attend the Vietnam Financial Advisors Summit - VWAS 2024.

How to choose the winner and Judging Criteria:

Includes two score levels:

● 50%: 1 Like ~ 1 point, Share ~ 2 points. Scores are converted to a 100-point scale. The person with the highest score will be converted to 100 points, the remaining people will be calculated in proportion to the person with the highest score.

● 50%: The quality of the article is scored by the Jury on a 100-point scale.

The Organizing Committee has the sole right to decide on the ranking of entries.

The Organizing Committee has the right to use your entry in the media. During the organization process, depending on the actual conditions, the Organizing Committee can adjust the rules accordingly. The final decision belongs to the Organizing Committee.
