Inauguration and putting into operation more than 8km of Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City

(DN) - On the morning of August 19, as part of the groundbreaking and inauguration program of projects to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, in Dong Nai, the Ministry of Construction and My Thuan Project Management Board held the inauguration and put into operation the Component Project 1A, Tan Van - Nhon Trach section, phase 1.

Attending the ceremony were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Tran Trung Nhan; Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of Dong Nai Department of Finance Truong Thi Huong Binh.

Component 1A Project is over 8km long, the starting point connects with Component 3 Project at Km5+000 in Nhon Trach Commune, Dong Nai Province; the end point connects with Component 1 Project at Km13+140 in Long Truong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. This is the first section of Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City to be opened to traffic and put into operation.

The inauguration and putting into operation of Component Project 1A, Tan Van - Nhon Trach Construction Investment Project Phase 1 will shorten the journey from Dong Nai province to Ho Chi Minh City, opening a new development journey, creating favorable conditions for freight transport, enhancing trade exchange, remote traffic separation and reducing congestion on inner-city routes of Ho Chi Minh City.

The project also contributes to the completion of the Ring Road 3 system - Ho Chi Minh City according to the planning approved by the Prime Minister. Thereby, promoting the socio -economic development of the Eastern and Southwestern regions in particular and the whole country in general.
