Speed up site clearance progress for The Ky, Tan Tap and Thu Thua Industrial Park projects

At the meeting, representatives of relevant units reported in detail on the implementation of compensation and resettlement support work; pointed out difficulties and proposed solutions to speed up the implementation progress.

Specifically, The Century Industrial Park (Duc Hoa commune, invested by Hai Son Company Limited) has a planned area of over 119 hectares, of which industrial land is about 83 hectares. The project has approved a compensation, support and resettlement plan for nearly 350 households with an area of over 1.19 million m², with a total cost of over 1,657 billion VND.

Tan Tap Industrial Park (Tan Tap Commune, invested by Long An Development Investment Joint Stock Company) has a planned area of 654 hectares, of which industrial land is nearly 482 hectares. Currently, the project has completed cadastral survey and land plot extraction and is implementing site clearance work, preparing for the next steps.

Thu Thua Industrial Park (Thu Thua commune, invested by Thu Thua Industrial Park and Urban Development Joint Stock Company - IUH) has a planned area of 170.7 hectares, of which nearly 128 hectares are industrial land. The project was approved by the Prime Minister in 2019, and approved for adjustment of the overall 1/2000 zoning plan and the 1/500 detailed plan.

Up to now, the project has completed all legal procedures such as environmental impact assessment report, fire prevention and fighting approval, and issuance of Investment Certificate. The Provincial People's Committee leased land in two phases with a total area of about ^837,000m2 , the enterprise has fulfilled its financial obligations and been granted a Certificate of Land Use Rights for this area.

Regarding compensation and site clearance, Thu Thua Industrial Park has completed about 76%, with 375/494 households, area 134/171ha, cost nearly 882/1,169 billion VND. There are currently 119 cases with a total area of more than 36ha that have not been handed over; of which 79 cases have agreed to the compensation plan, 40 cases have not yet approved.

Speaking at the meeting, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board Truong Thanh Liem emphasized that, along with focusing on thoroughly handling difficulties, investors need to pay attention to building synchronous infrastructure, creating a green - clean - beautiful landscape, aiming to develop modern, environmentally friendly industrial parks according to the circular economic model.

Speeding up the progress of compensation and site clearance will create conditions for industrial park projects to be implemented on schedule, contributing to attracting investment, promoting industrial development, creating more jobs and making positive contributions to the socio-economic growth of Tay Ninh province./.
