Inauguration and handover of auxiliary works in Gia Hoi and Son Luong communes

On September 27, at Gia Hoi commune, comrade Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairwoman in charge of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee attended the inauguration ceremony and handover of auxiliary works to Gia Hoi Secondary School (Gia Hoi commune) and Nam Muoi Kindergarten (Son Luong commune), Lao Cai province.

Attending were leaders of Information Technology and Digital Transformation Division - Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, representatives of Vietcombank Yen Bai branch, leaders of Gia Hoi commune, leaders of 2 schools and many students of Gia Hoi Secondary School.

In recent times, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam ( Vietcombank ) has always paid special attention to social security work. In 2025, Vietcombank's Social Security Fund supported 500 million VND to build school sanitation facilities for Gia Hoi Secondary School and Nam Muoi Kindergarten. The project includes a closed septic tank system, fully equipped with toilets, hand-washing basins and a waste discharge and treatment system that ensures hygiene standards. After the construction period, the project has been completed, inaugurated, handed over and officially put into use, serving students from the 2025-2026 school year.

This is a meaningful gift, contributing to improving facilities, enhancing learning and living conditions for students, helping them study in a "Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe" environment. The two schools commit to managing, using effectively, for the right purpose, regularly cleaning and maintaining to keep the project clean and beautiful.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman in charge of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged the support of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam Vietcombank to the locality, and thanked the sentiments of the bank's staff and employees in implementing social security programs in Lao Cai province. She requested that the local government and beneficiaries effectively manage and use the handed-over works, and that students raise their awareness of using them, be good and study well.

On this occasion, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam presented a wheelchair to a student with mobility disabilities at Gia Hoi Secondary School and partially supported the monthly living expenses of three students with especially difficult circumstances, lasting from the 2025-2026 school year until they complete secondary school. At the same time, Vietcombank also sent many gifts to students at Gia Hoi Secondary School and Nam Muoi Kindergarten.
