Construction of Kenh 79 Bridge on Provincial Road 831 started

On October 20, the Tay Ninh Province Construction Investment Management Board announced that the unit had just started construction of Kenh 79 Bridge - one of the remaining 6 bridges of the project on Provincial Road 831 (Vinh Binh - Long Khot border gate section and Vinh Thuan - Tan Hung section to Tan Phuoc).

Delegates perform the groundbreaking ceremony

Kenh 79 Bridge crosses the canal of the same name, replacing the existing degraded iron bridge, connecting Go Thuyen A hamlet and Roc Chanh A hamlet, Tan Hung commune. The project is built with permanent prestressed reinforced concrete structure, including 3 spans, total length 100m, bridge width 16m, horizontal clearance 26m and vertical clearance 4m (compared to water level frequency 5%), bearing load HL93.

Existing iron bridge

The bridge is also designed with a public lighting system, contributing to ensuring traffic safety and the beauty of the area. This is a level III traffic project, with a total contract value of nearly 56 billion VND, invested from the provincial budget and other legally mobilized sources. The project is expected to be completed in March 2027.

Construction machinery

The construction of Canal 79 Bridge has been a long-awaited project for local residents. Once put into use, the project will contribute to improving the rural transport system, facilitating the circulation and transportation of goods./.
