(Dan Tri) - Authorities determined that Kim Anh committed fraud when completing procedures to declare inheritance and register changes in information in the land use rights certificate.

On January 19, Lao Cai Provincial Police announced that they had prosecuted Nguyen Kim Anh (born 1972, in Lao Cai City) for fraud and property appropriation.

According to the police, through investigation, the authorities determined that Kim Anh had committed fraud when carrying out procedures to declare inheritance and register changes in information in the land use rights certificate for land plot No. 147 (Ton That Thuyet Street, Lao Cai Ward, Lao Cai City).

In particular, Nguyen Kim Anh also completed the transfer procedures, asked someone else to stand in her name on the land plot, then mortgaged it to borrow money from the bank.

Authorities said that Kim Anh concealed and did not provide information to agencies, organizations, and individuals related to the fact that she had previously directly participated with her biological parents in making a will to leave property (land plot No. 147 to her niece, Nguyen Thi Hai Yen), with the purpose of borrowing 1.88 billion VND from VPBank Kinh Do branch (Dong Da district, Hanoi), and then embezzling it.

Lao Cai Provincial Police are coordinating with Lao Cai Provincial People's Procuracy to continue to investigate and clarify Nguyen Kim Anh's actions.
