Do not let people be interrupted in accessing policy loans when merging

BBK - That is the direction of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Thu Trang, Head of the Board of Directors of the Bac Kan Provincial Social Policy Bank (BSPB) at the regular meeting to evaluate the results of operations in the first 6 months of the year, and set out directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

In the first 6 months of the year, the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank at all levels held 18 meetings, including 02 at the provincial level and 16 at the district level; at the same time, 05 members of the Board of Representatives were appointed, bringing the total number of members in the province to 201.

Comrade Hoang Thu Trang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Board of Directors of the Provincial Social Policy Bank gave a speech.

Up to now, the total capital of the Provincial Social Policy Bank has reached 3,593 billion VND, an increase of 88 billion VND compared to the end of 2024. Of which, the loan turnover reached 581 billion VND with more than 8,800 borrowers; outstanding credit balance reached 3,584 billion VND, a growth rate of 2.4%. In particular, credit quality continues to be well maintained with the overdue debt ratio at 0.15%.

In the coming time, the CSXH Bank system will continue to develop a plan to arrange and maintain the operations of Transaction Offices, Transaction Points, transaction schedules, and operations of Savings and Loan Groups as before the reorganization of commune-level administrative units - ensuring a network close to the people, serving the people most conveniently; ensuring the operations of the CSXH Bank are smooth, effective, efficient, and develop sustainably.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Thu Trang, Head of the Provincial Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, requested the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies at all levels to continue to improve the quality of policy credit activities; focus on implementing the credit growth plan for 2025; pay attention to performing well the task of entrusting local budget capital to the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.

Closely following the policy of merging administrative units, proactively advising local Party committees and authorities, coordinating with socio -political organizations entrusted with the merger, ensuring the stable and smooth implementation of policy credit activities, without interrupting people's access to policy loans during the merger. Chairmen of the People's Committees of new communes and wards shall arrange locations and working conditions to maintain the network of transaction points and transaction schedules of the Social Policy Bank as before the administrative unit arrangement; arrange forces to ensure security, order and safety of people and property during the time of organizing transactions at commune transaction points; create conditions for the Social Policy Bank to place signs and public boards at transaction points according to regulations.../.
