The Transaction Office of the Bank for Social Policies of Luong Son District (now the Transaction Office of the Bank for Social Policies of Luong Son District) was established and put into operation in 2003. After more than 20 years of operation, under the attention and direction of the former District Party Committee and People's Committee of Luong Son District, the close coordination and association of sectors, local authorities, socio-political organizations, especially the direction of the Representative Board of Directors of the Bank for Social Policies of Luong Son District, the Transaction Office of the Bank for Social Policies of Luong Son District has achieved important results in operation, performing well the function as a financial tool of the State in providing policy credit, contributing to the implementation of the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and ensuring social security.

During the working process, members of the Board of Directors of the District Social Policy Bank have always accompanied and closely coordinated with the Social Policy Bank in implementing policy credit programs, actively contributing to sustainable poverty reduction and ensuring social security in the locality.

From 1 preferential credit program, up to now, Luong Son Social Policy Bank Transaction Office has implemented 15 preferential credit programs with a total outstanding debt of over 505 billion VND.

The representative of the Bank for Social Policies of Luong Son presented the honor of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to 8 members of the Board of Directors of the Bank for Social Policies of Luong Son district (old) who have been members of the Board of Directors for 5 years or more as of June 30, 2025, including 5 members in Cao Duong commune, 2 members in Luong Son commune and 1 member in Lien Son commune who have made many achievements contributing to the performance of the Bank for Social Policies.
