Lao cultural space converges in Hanoi and Thanh Hoa

Implementing the Cultural, Arts and Tourism Cooperation Plan between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Laos for the period 2021-2025, the Lao Cultural Week in Vietnam 2025 will take place from October 1-7 in Hanoi and Thanh Hoa with many special programs.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a delegation from the Lao Ministry of Culture and Tourism led by Mr. Vansy Kouamoua, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Laos, visited and worked in Vietnam. During the working trip, the delegation is expected to meet with leaders of the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; preside over the opening ceremony of the Lao Cultural Week in Vietnam 2025 and work with leaders of Thanh Hoa province.

Within the framework of the event, many special art programs will be held. The opening ceremony of Lao Cultural Week in Vietnam will take place on the evening of October 2 at the Hanoi Opera House with a performance by the art troupe of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

On the evening of October 4, Thanh Hoa audiences will enjoy a performance by a Lao art troupe at Lam Son Theatre. The troupe is expected to participate in the first “ World Cultural Festival in Hanoi” art program at the central relic site of Thang Long Imperial Citadel.

Lao Cultural Week in Vietnam 2025 is a meaningful activity, contributing to strengthening solidarity and cohesion between the people of the two countries while promoting the unique traditional cultural values ​​of Laos to Vietnamese friends.
