Khong Lao: Fire broke out in 2 businesses and 1 house

According to information from Khong Lao commune, at about 5:00 a.m. on September 23, a fire broke out in Khong Lao village, causing damage to two businesses.

The fire completely burned down Thanh Phuong Tailor Shop of Ms. Vang Thi Hop (residing in Cang village, Khong Lao commune); Truong Tho Furniture Shopping Center of Mr. Luu Truong Tho (residing in Tay Nguyen village, Phong Tho commune) and partially damaged the house of Ms. Tran Thi Khanh (residing in Tay Nguyen village, Phong Tho commune, temporarily residing in Khong Lao village).

Immediately after the fire broke out, the local Party Committee, authorities and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Provincial Police); the police and militia of the commune promptly arrived to direct and participate in fire fighting. However, due to the presence of many flammable materials, the fire spread quickly. After more than 30 minutes of fire fighting efforts, the fire was brought under control.

Authorities arrived promptly to control the fire.

The fire damaged the property of two businesses, estimated at over 3 billion VND; there were no casualties. Currently, the authorities are urgently investigating the cause of the fire.
