Danang's recommendations on emerging sea tourism services, tourists should take note

(NLDO) - Tourists paddling SUP at Da Nang beach need to follow the prescribed time to ensure safety.

On July 21, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches recommended safety when participating in SUP paddling at tourist beaches in the city.

Accordingly, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches recommends that people and tourists only paddle SUP during the prescribed time frame, in the morning from 4:30 am to 8:00 am, in the afternoon from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

This is to ensure the safety of SUP participants, while protecting the marine environment and preserving urban beauty. This unit also recommends that people and tourists absolutely do not SUP when the weather is bad, the sea is rough, or there is strong wind.

Wear a life jacket and leg harness at all times while SUPing; SUP in areas with signs at Man Thai beach; choose a safe SUP rental service with an instructor. Do not SUP in areas where guests swim or coral protection areas; do not bring pets, organize meals, or use stimulants while SUPing.

For organizations and individuals doing business in SUP services, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches requires strict implementation of regulations related to SUP activities at the beach.

Do not park, gather items, fight, solicit customers, or cause disorder at the beach. At the same time, organize business activities within the permitted area, do not operate in the swimming area and coral protection area.

Provide training, safety skills guidance, and disseminate rules and regulations to customers before using the service, and have staff accompany customers.

It is known that SUP rowing is a favorite beach sport and entertainment for many locals and tourists when visiting Da Nang.

Currently, SUP is mainly operated at Man Thai beach (Son Tra district). According to statistics, there are about 10 organizations and individuals in the city with business licenses for this type of activity.
