The survey trip is part of the survey program of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council on the implementation of the economic growth target of Ca Mau province in 2025.
Ms. Vu Hong Nhu Yen, Head of the survey team, affirmed: To successfully achieve the province's growth targets in 2025 and the following stages, the collective economy associated with the development of "three agricultures" in Ca Mau plays a very important role.
The survey team visited the booth displaying OCOP products at Minh Duy Bon Cooperative.
The Head of the Survey Team scans the product traceability code of Minh Duy Bon Cooperative.
Minh Duy Bon Bon Cooperative (established in 2022) currently has 1 OCOP product, displaying more than 50 typical products. Products from the Bon Bon tree are present in the market nationwide with stable output. The Cooperative is developing many new and unique products such as Bon Bon tea, Bon Bon kimchi, sweet and sour Bon Bon... to enhance the value of this specialty.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang An, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cai Bat Processing - Trade - Service - Aquaculture Cooperative reported on the cooperative's operations to the Survey Team.
Cai Bat Aquaculture - Trade - Service - Processing Cooperative is the first cooperative in the country to achieve responsible aquaculture certification (ASC), qualified to export to demanding markets such as the US, Japan, Korea, Brazil, etc. Currently, the cooperative has 130 members, linking 4 OCOP products with many typical rural industrial products at the provincial and regional levels, with a wide consumption market at home and abroad.
The survey team directly visited the production and processing workshop of products at Cai Bat Processing - Trade - Service - Aquaculture Cooperative.
The survey team assessed that cooperatives in Hung My have exploited local advantages, promoted key products, and linked production and business with the role of collective economy. Thereby, contributing to promoting the development of rural agriculture in a modern direction, linking value chains, improving competitiveness and integration thinking for farmers.
At the cooperatives, Ms. Vu Hong Nhu Yen affirmed that to complete the growth target in 2025 and the following stages, the collective economy associated with 'agriculture and rural areas' plays a very important role. The survey team also recorded the recommendations of the cooperatives to report and propose to the competent authorities to perfect the mechanisms, policies, resources and support solutions, in order to promote the sustainable development of Ca Mau's collective economy .
