The meeting decided many important issues in the medium-term vision.

The 24th session of the 18th term Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council is expected to consider and decide on 36 proposals of the Provincial People's Committee on many issues to create momentum for socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the province in 2025 and the following years. In addition, there is a huge amount of work that needs to be approved at the regular year-end meeting.

Looking at the meeting agenda, it can be seen that, although it is a regular meeting, with a large amount of work to be discussed and decided, as well as many urgent and difficult issues to be considered, resolved, and approved, contributing to the highest completion of the tasks of the entire term; creating development momentum for the province before a new congress term, a new development stage with new requirements on position and strength to keep pace with the country entering the era of national development. Including important contents of a phase nature such as: Expected demand for medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026-2030 of Thanh Hoa province; or issues related to the regime and policies of the majority of beneficiaries; issues that help to untie bottlenecks, pave the way for investment and development... The meeting is therefore significant in terms of supervision as well as playing a decisive role in many important issues of the province, not only for 2025 - the transition year between the two terms of the Provincial Party Congress, but also in the medium-term vision.

Before the session, many meetings were held between the delegations of the Provincial People's Council with voters and people in the province. With the responsibility of listening and absorbing, the Provincial People's Council delegates will certainly fulfill their responsibility of "bringing life into the parliament", many outstanding and pressing issues from life will be discussed in more depth in the session discussing the socio-economic situation and the question-and-answer session with 3 issues on slow-progressing direct investment projects; slow digital transformation and digital economy; living environment and media environment with many problems causing frustration.

Continuing the spirit of innovation in previous sessions, the 24th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council takes place at a time when the year 2025 is approaching - the final year of implementing and striving to complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress; is building documents to submit to the 20th Congress and preparing a socio-economic development plan for a new development period. Therefore, the session is expected to bring higher quality through enthusiastic, quality discussions, correct, accurate and close questioning of issues of concern to voters and the people. Especially after the session, on the basis of the resolution issued by the Provincial People's Council, the supervision of implementation will be promoted, so that the agreed contents and resolutions at the session are quickly transformed into specific actions and deeds.
