Commemorating the Traditional Day of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Force and the National Fire Prevention and Fighting Day October 4: Building a regular, elite and modern force

In the context of Khanh Hoa province's strong transformation with many intertwined opportunities and challenges, building a regular, elite, modern Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police force (PCCC-CNCH) of Khanh Hoa Public Security, associated with digital transformation and mobilizing the strength of the entire people is a practical requirement for the sustainable development of the province.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of the Provincial Police proactively advised the province on many documents and plans to concretize the directions of the Party, the State, and the Ministry of Public Security on fire prevention and rescue work in the province; organized forces to carry out 265 firefighting cases, along with hundreds of rescue cases, directly rescued more than 120 people, guided thousands of people to escape, and protected assets worth hundreds of billions of VND. Along with that, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force inspected nearly 12,000 establishments, thereby promptly detecting nearly 20,000 loopholes and shortcomings and requesting corrections; organized the development of nearly 1,000 fire prevention and rescue plans; conducted drills and practice of 289 fire prevention and rescue plans; organized thousands of propaganda sessions and instructed fire prevention and rescue skills and escape skills for hundreds of thousands of people; Organized training for tens of thousands of grassroots fire fighting forces; advised on the construction of thousands of public fire fighting points in residential areas... These results affirm the core and pioneering role of the Fire Police - Rescue force in protecting security, order and social safety in general, and fire fighting - rescue work in the province in particular.

Implementing the common goal of the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030: "Khanh Hoa province firmly enters the decade of raising the level of development, by 2030 becoming a centrally-run city, an international tourism and maritime service center, a national and regional data center, with double-digit economic growth, a high growth pole of the whole country, the urban system developing in a smart and sustainable direction", currently, Khanh Hoa province is developing rapid urbanization, many 30-40 storey buildings, many national energy projects, large traffic infrastructure projects, and rapidly increasing population density in urban areas. This makes fire prevention and rescue work even more important and urgent. In fact, the Provincial Police Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force still faces certain difficulties, such as: Firefighting equipment for high-rise buildings, at sea, underground works, and underwater rescue is still limited; the number of officers and soldiers is still insufficient compared to the demand; the awareness of compliance with fire prevention and rescue regulations of a part of production and business establishments and people is not high, still subjective, leading to potential risks of fire and explosion. In addition, the impact of climate change causes extreme weather with the potential risk of flash floods, landslides, etc. To proactively face the risks and challenges in fire prevention and rescue work, the Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial Police determined to build a "regular, elite, modern" fire prevention and rescue force with a number of key orientations such as: Continuing to improve the force's organizational structure according to the motto "sleek, compact, strong, efficient, effective, and efficient"; Building a team of cadres with strong political will, discipline, responsibility, professional expertise, ready to sacrifice for the people; prioritizing investment in modern fire prevention and rescue equipment, meeting practical requirements in the current local development situation; promoting digital transformation in performing fire prevention and rescue tasks; improving the effectiveness of propaganda work, building a mass fire prevention and rescue movement.

The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Force of Khanh Hoa Police organizes dozens of fire prevention and fighting plans every year.

With the close leadership and direction of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the coordination of departments and branches, and the support of the people, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force of the Provincial Police continues to strive to successfully complete assigned tasks, effectively serving the development of Khanh Hoa province in the new era.
