Lam Dong holds press conference on Investment Promotion Conference 2025

On the afternoon of September 30, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc chaired the Press Conference on Investment Promotion Conference in Lam Dong Province in 2025. Representatives of departments, branches, units and more than 50 journalists and reporters from central and local press agencies attended.

At the press conference, the leaders of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee introduced an overview of the 2025 Investment Promotion Conference and preparations for the Conference. The press conference also informed about the Program to honor outstanding entrepreneurs on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day, October 13.

The list of projects calling for investment in 2025, the 2026-2030 period and the province's investment attraction policy have been informed by departments and branches to journalists and reporters.

On the side of the Central and local press agencies, many questions were raised regarding this Promotion Conference. The representative of the People's Public Security Newspaper said that the investment procedures in Lam Dong are still cumbersome. Many problems with planning and land have affected the province's investment attraction in recent times. What kind of commitment will the locality have at this Promotion Conference?

Regarding questions from Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance Le Binh Minh informed that the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Finance to review all projects in the three areas of Lam Dong Blue Sea, Lam Dong Thousand Flowers, and Lam Dong Great Forest. Through the review, the whole province currently has 2,934 projects. Of which, about 300 projects are facing problems in planning, site clearance and related difficulties.

Regarding the question of removing difficulties for investors, Lam Dong province leaders said: The Provincial People's Committee regularly meets and dialogues with businesses to grasp the problems. Every week, the Department of Finance coordinates with the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association to organize the Entrepreneur Coffee program.

However, Lam Dong is still facing many procedures and legal issues in many areas, affecting investment attraction in the area. Among them, there are many procedures under the Central authority such as: Land Law, Public Investment Law... As for the problems under the authority of the province, the locality has established a Working Group and Steering Committee to remove difficulties for businesses...

With the theme: "Lam Dong: Breakthrough potential, raise position", the 2025 Investment Promotion Conference is expected to be held by Lam Dong on October 12, 2025. The conference attracts about 750 guests. The conference is organized in a combination of in-person and online formats, with bilingual Vietnamese-English interpretation.

Within the framework of the conference, there will be activities such as: Music and art performances combined with a program to honor outstanding entrepreneurs; Displaying planning maps and a number of projects calling for investment; Displaying and introducing commercial products and services of Lam Dong province's enterprises.
