Ms. Nhu Ngoc Nuong, a resident living in the Nuclear Power - Tran Anh Tong planning area, said: Since 2011, when the planning area started construction, Lam Dong Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company designed a shared water pipe for us.

However, up to now, due to the large population in this planning area (over 100 households), it has exceeded the demand for use. That causes the water line in the area to be frequently cut off because it is not enough to supply the entire residential area. In particular, from around 5:00 p.m. every day, there is almost no water to use.
According to Ms. Nuong, the reason that the residents found out was because the planning area of Hill 52, area 548 after its establishment used the same water line with the area of Nguyen Tu Luc - Tran Anh Tong. Meanwhile, the system has not been upgraded for a long time to suit the needs of use.

On the other hand, the planning area is located at a high position, the water flowing from top to bottom is unevenly distributed, causing some places to have water, some places to not. People living in the planning area of Nguyen Tu Luc - Tran Anh Tong are currently hoping that Lam Dong Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company will soon invest in and upgrade the clean water supply system to serve their daily needs.
At the house of Mr. Dao Van Thang, residing at 11 Tran Anh Tong Street (Hill 52 planning area), Lam Vien ward - Da Lat also reflects the same phenomenon. The water supply here of the households is very weak. Only late at night there is water.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Deputy General Director of Lam Dong Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company, said: In response to the feedback and recommendations of households, the unit has sent officers and employees to the field, inspect and record the current status of clean water supply in the above areas.

Through inspection, it is shown that currently, the cast iron - PVC D150 Nguyen Tu Luc pipeline is experiencing a blockage phenomenon that cannot be determined exactly. Therefore, the water pipe pressure has decreased, causing the water supply to the people to not meet expectations.

Next Monday, the Technical Department will cut the D150 pipe at 2 locations, house number 131 and 209 Nguyen Tu Luc street. After that, use the unclogging vehicle to clear the pipe. The unit will arrange an excavator to dig for the pipe and cut at 2 locations at the same time. If the water supply is not restored, the Technical Department will coordinate with the Construction Enterprise to have a suitable solution.
The unit also installed new pipes from piles CO-C1, C2'-C3 (with attached drawings of the Hill 52 planning area). Depending on the actual situation, the Company will cut off all old steel pipes. Thereby, ensuring the supply of enough clean water to serve the daily needs of the people.
