Mobilizing maximum resources, speeding up construction progress of DT.722 route

That was the direction of Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Vo Ngoc Hiep after checking the actual progress of construction of DT.722 road on the morning of October 1.

The working delegation led by the Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee inspected the construction area of ​​provincial road DT 722.

Also attending were leaders of a number of relevant departments, Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1, and leaders of communes in Dam Rong area.

DT 722 road project belongs to the DT.729 road construction project connecting Lam Dong province with the old Binh Thuan province and DT.722 road connecting Lam Dong province with Dak Lak province.

Currently, the weather in the area is rainy, greatly affecting the construction progress.

The project has a total investment capital of 600 billion VND, of which the central budget has a target of 500 billion VND and the provincial budget 100 billion VND, and will start construction in 2022.

According to the design, the route has a total length of 18.81km, built according to the standards of a grade IV mountain road, ensuring safety and efficiency for vehicles. The road surface is 7.5m wide, including 2 lanes for motor vehicles, promising to connect the Da Lat urban area with the Dam Rong area, and Dak Lak province, meeting the increasing transportation needs in the area.

Currently, the contractor is making efforts to implement construction items, from asphalt concrete pavement, crushed stone foundation construction, to building bridges Km7, Km9. Although facing many difficulties due to unfavorable weather, the construction progress has achieved encouraging results.

According to the report, the cumulative implementation volume has reached about 288.63 billion VND, equivalent to 54.6% of the total investment. It is expected that by the end of 2025, the protective works and the first layer of crushed stone foundation will be completed along the entire route, and the asphalt concrete will be laid on 12/18.9km.
