Clarifying the clip of a female student in Hue beating up her friend while many people cheered on her

Nguyen Chi Dieu Secondary School (Hue City) has just sent a document reporting to the Department of Education and Training about a female student of this school being beaten and having a clip posted online.

The above information was confirmed by the leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Hue City on the morning of October 5.

Previously, Facebook circulated a video recording what was said to be a female student of Nguyen Chi Dieu Secondary School being beaten by a classmate.

According to the clip, the female student was beaten and forced to kneel on the floor, surrounded by a group of other female students. One of the female students in the group repeatedly pointed at the kneeling female student, pulled her hair, and slapped her in the face.

While the female student was being beaten helplessly, the surrounding female students did not intervene. Many even pointed at the victim and shouted in support of the violence.

According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, after the clip of the female student being beaten was posted on social media, the People's Committee of Thuan Hoa Ward directed Nguyen Chi Dieu Secondary School to report the incident.

According to Nguyen Chi Dieu Secondary School, the parents cooperated and actively coordinated in the process of resolving the incident. The school is very sorry and fully aware of its responsibility, and at the same time sends its deepest apologies and sympathies to the parents and students for the recent school violence incident.

Regarding handling, the school is determined to strictly follow the regulations, ensuring discipline, no prejudice, and suitability to students' psychological characteristics, while focusing on education , helping students correctly perceive their behavior and correct mistakes.
