Clarifying the acts of intentionally causing injury and disturbing public order at Vo Nguyen Giap High School

A representative of Vo Nguyen Giap High School (Ea O Commune) said that the unit has just sent a report to the Department of Education and Training and Ea O Commune Police about the incident of disturbing public order and intentionally causing injury that occurred on school grounds.

According to the report, the incident occurred at around 7:10 a.m. on October 3, in the school yard near the security room. While performing the task of checking student discipline and supervising order as assigned by the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Truc Sinh - Secretary of the School Youth Union, teacher of National Defense and Security Education reminded Mr. Dang Tang (a teacher at the same school) about parking his car in the wrong place in the school yard. However, instead of accepting, Mr. Dang Tang reacted harshly, using threatening words, then used his hand to squeeze Mr. Nguyen Truc Sinh's neck twice. The incident occurred right in front of a number of students and school security staff. Security forces had to intervene promptly to prevent the incident from continuing.

As a result, Mr. Nguyen Truc Sinh suffered pain and showed signs of neck injury. The school recorded images of the injury and reported it to the authorities. In a document sent to the authorities, the school's Board of Directors emphasized that Mr. Dang Tang's violent behavior not only seriously affected the health and spirit of the victim but also caused psychological shock to the students who witnessed the incident. This harmed the educational environment, which requires safety, health and exemplary behavior from the teaching staff.

The leadership of Vo Nguyen Giap High School also reported that during his work, Mr. Dang Tang repeatedly showed signs of aggression, disrespecting colleagues and students; leaving meetings without permission... Previously, Mr. Dang Tang was disciplined twice by the Principal of Vo Nguyen Giap High School (reprimand in January 2024; warning in January 2025) for violating teachers' ethics; physically abusing, insulting the honor and dignity of students.

Vo Nguyen Giap High School requests the Department of Education and Training and Ea O Commune Police to promptly investigate and handle the case in accordance with legal regulations, in order to deter, educate, ensure the safety of life, health, and honor of cadres, teachers, employees, and students; and maintain order and discipline in the educational environment.
