Changing the learning space has created excitement for students but also many concerns. Student Bich Chi raised the question of whether learning theory and practice at the newspaper is different from that at school?

Responding to students' concerns, journalist Bui Tien Dung - head of the education department and director of the Tuoi Tre Newspaper Training Center - said that the school and the newspaper had discussed for a long time before agreeing on the training content, ensuring it met standards and complied with regulations on university training programs.

Basically, the training program at the newspaper is based on the school's program, the newspaper has adjusted to increase practice and skills for students.

"However, studying at the newspaper will have many differences compared to studying at school. The first difference is the learning space.

Students are "immersed" in the media space, learning at the converged newsroom, departments, events, and on-site. Another difference is that students learn by doing. After finishing their studies, they have products that are used in newspapers.

Students with a youthful, fresh and creative perspective will have many products published in Tuoi Tre newspaper and receive royalties. The three important words that we define when training are Learning - Asking - Doing", Mr. Dung further explained.

From there, students can visualize what they will do after graduation, contributing to their future career orientation.

Students also questioned whether there was any difference in assessment during the learning process compared to the school. Regarding this issue, journalist Bui Tien Dung said that the newspaper complies with the school's assessment regulations and component score columns. However, the newspaper does not organize final exams. Mid-term and final exams are assessed based on students' actual products.
