According to the announcement from the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command, the ceremony to pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh will be held again from August 2 as scheduled. Previously, the construction temporarily stopped receiving visitors from June 2 to July 31 to serve periodic repair and maintenance work.
This opening took place right before the 4-day National Day holiday (August 30 - September 2). The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is expected to be one of the places attracting a large number of people and tourists from home and abroad to visit.
The 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 will be solemnly held in Hanoi with the participation of about 30,000 delegates and people. At this time, the city will expand Hung Vuong Street and install two large stages at Ba Dinh Square.

Hanoi is expected to welcome millions of visitors, with many cultural, artistic and tourism activities and five major fireworks displays at Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium and West Lake.
Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang said the unit has built many new tourism products such as inner-city day tours, suburban tours, culinary tours, cultural experiences and night tours to explore Hanoi.
According to Ms. Giang, the city plans to plan one or two new areas into walking spaces or community cultural spaces to serve residents and international tourists.
Tourism, travel and accommodation businesses have pledged to prepare adequate human resources and facilities for the holiday. Room booking rates in central districts such as Ba Dinh and Hoan Kiem have reached from 70% to nearly 100%.

In preparation for this important political event and to create favorable conditions to stimulate tourism, the National Tourism Administration requires localities to strengthen measures to serve tourists.
Key contents include ensuring security and safety at tourist attractions; controlling service quality; strictly handling violations, solicitation, and price gouging; and publicizing a hotline to receive feedback from tourists.
Localities are encouraged to organize origin tours, gratitude events, and tourism products associated with patriotism and revolutionary traditions. At the same time, communication and skills training for tourism service staff are promoted, especially during peak holidays.
