Dak Lak provincial leaders offer incense and commemorate heroic martyrs

On July 26, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province visited the Eastern Martyrs' Cemetery of the province and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Attending the event were Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hoa An; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Huu Huy; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Tran Huu The; Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Dao An Xuan; representatives of the leadership of the advisory and assisting agencies of the Provincial Party Committee; armed forces; departments, branches, and mass organizations of the province; former leaders of Phu Yen province (old) through the periods.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, provincial leaders and delegates respectfully offered incense in memory of heroic martyrs at the Monument of heroic martyrs, and laid a wreath with the words "The Fatherland honors heroic martyrs".

Before the monument to the Fatherland's merits, the delegation bowed to remember and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, protecting the Fatherland, and for the happiness of the people.

After the incense offering ceremony at the Memorial, delegates burned incense at the martyrs' graves in the cemetery grounds.

At the end of the visitation ceremony at the provincial Martyrs Cemetery, the delegations offered incense at Nhan Mountain Memorial.

Nhan Mountain Memorial is a work of gratitude to those who heroically sacrificed their lives on the land of Phu Yen (old) in the struggle for national liberation, national reunification and the cause of protecting the Fatherland.

In the stele house, there are 38 stele pillars with the names of 13,085 martyrs of Phu Yen and 4 stele pillars with the names of 1,000 martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed on the Phu Yen battlefield.

The memorial service is a meaningful activity, expressing the concern and gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak province for the great contributions and sacrifices of heroic martyrs in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

This is also an opportunity for Party committees and authorities at all levels to continue to affirm their responsibility in taking better care of the material and spiritual lives of families of martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services to the revolution - those who have contributed to today's independence, freedom and peace .
