Provincial leaders inspect preparations for a series of activities in response to World Tourism Day 2025

On the morning of September 26, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang inspected the venue for the "Quintessence of Ca Mau Cuisine" Festival, the Talented Chef Competition and the scientific seminar "Positioning Ca Mau tourism brand in the overall development of national tourism", as part of a series of events responding to World Tourism Day on September 27. Joining the delegation were comrade To Viet Thu, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Bac Lieu Ward Party Committee and leaders of relevant departments and branches.

The festival "Quintessence of Ca Mau cuisine", taking place from September 27 to 30 (opening at 7:00 p.m. on September 27); Talented chef competition (opening at 7:30 a.m. on September 28); scientific seminar "Positioning Ca Mau tourism brand in the overall development of national tourism" (taking place at 2:00 p.m. on September 28) are events in the series of activities responding to World Tourism Day (September 27) of Ca Mau province.

Provincial leaders and members of the working delegation inspected Hung Vuong Square, the venue for the series of activities of the "Quintessence of Ca Mau Cuisine " Festival and the Talented Chef Competition.

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, up to now, items such as: Opening stage, OCOP product display space, performance area and culinary experience are being urgently completed. It is expected that by 3:00 p.m. on September 26, the booths will be handed over to businesses and OCOP subjects for decoration and product display.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu requested the Provincial Police to effectively deploy plans to ensure security, order, traffic safety and fire prevention and fighting at the event site, in order to contribute to the success of the events, creating a good impression for delegates and visitors.
