After the merger, the Department of Home Affairs has 07 specialized departments and 04 affiliated public service units with a total of 100 civil servants, 68 officials and 57 contract employees; the Board of Directors has a Director and 05 Deputy Directors.

After the merger, the Board of Directors of the Department of Home Affairs thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the direction of the Central and the province on arranging and perfecting the organization and apparatus within the unit to immediately carry out professional tasks. The work of advising competent authorities on appointment, transfer, and settlement of regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, and public employees was carried out promptly and in accordance with regulations; emulation, reward, and policies for meritorious people continued to be well implemented; employment by September reached more than 83% of the plan; the arrangement of the organization and organization of local government at 02 levels basically met the requirements of political tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee.

The current difficulty of the unit is that some professional guidance documents in the field of internal affairs have not been issued by the Central Government in a timely manner, while the documents of the province have not been unified after the merger; the arrangement and organization of the work staff at some commune-level units face many difficulties; there are local surpluses and shortages of cadres, civil servants and public employees, in some cases the capacity is still limited, not meeting the requirements of the task, some parts are not proficient in their work... affecting professional work.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the efforts and achievements of the Board of Directors and officers, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Department of Home Affairs in the past time, especially before and after the province's merger until now.

In the coming time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai requested the Board of Directors, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Department of Home Affairs to promote the tradition of solidarity, innovative thinking, creativity, daring to think, daring to do, keeping a pure mind when performing tasks; focus on doing well the work of recruiting, training, fostering, mobilizing, and appointing cadres, especially cadres with information technology qualifications, with solutions to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality of work; focus on doing well the work of creating jobs for workers.
