Lao Cai simultaneously organizes military enlistment ceremony 2025

Kinhtedothi- On the morning of February 15, the 2025 military enlistment ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere in areas of Lao Cai province.

Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province attended the military enlistment ceremony in Bat Xat district.

This year, Bat Xat district has 135 citizens joining the army, of which 110 citizens perform military service and 25 citizens perform People's Public Security service.

In Lao Cai city, there are 137 citizens enlisted; of which 100% are youth union members, 44 citizens are ethnic minorities, and 43 citizens volunteered to enlist.

In Sa Pa town, there are 110 citizens enlisted in the army, of which 90 citizens perform military service and 20 citizens perform People's Public Security service.

In Van Ban district, there are 58 outstanding citizens who meet the standards of political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, cultural level, health, ready to go on duty to protect the Fatherland and participate in the People's Public Security service. Of these, the number of citizens performing military service is 130 and the number of citizens performing the People's Public Security service is 28. There are 68 citizens who voluntarily apply to join the army; 1 citizen is a party member.

In Simacai district, there are 101 new recruits leaving for military service, of which 90 citizens perform military service, 11 citizens perform People's Public Security service. There are 29 young people who have written applications to volunteer for military service.

In Bao Thang district, there are 148 new recruits, of which 115 citizens perform military service and 33 citizens perform People's Public Security service.

Bao Yen district has 147 citizens enlisted, of which 120 citizens perform military service and 27 citizens perform People's Public Security service. Among the new recruits, there is 1 female citizen participating in People's Public Security service, 104 young people who volunteered to join the army and 70 young people who are party members.

Among the new recruits in Lao Cai province this year, children of ethnic minorities account for 86%.

Muong Khuong district has 113 new recruits joining the army, of which 95 citizens perform military service and 18 citizens perform People's Public Security service.

This year, Lao Cai has 950 citizens enlisting to perform military service. Of these, 86% are children of ethnic minorities; 12 are university or college graduates; 34 are party members; 55.3% are citizens who volunteered to join the army; 324 are outstanding citizens who have been trained in Party awareness, creating a source of Party members for units after receiving new recruits, including some citizens who were admitted to the Party right before their enlistment.
