Le Khanh Hung won the Colombian Youth National Championship

TPO - The Colombian Youth National Championship - Copa Juan Sebastian Muñoz 2025 ended at Club Campestre Los Arrayanes (Bogota, Colombia) with a resounding victory belonging to Le Khanh Hung - representative from Vietnam.

Winning convincingly with three rounds of 69-66-69, achieving a total of -12 strokes, creating a gap of up to 9 strokes compared to the runner-up position, the 17-year-old Vietnamese golfer made his name in history as the first Asian champion to be crowned at this tournament.

In challenging competition conditions - steep terrain, unpredictable weather and pressure from local spectators - Le Khanh Hung still maintained stable performance for three consecutive days. Accurate serves, exquisite ball control and especially cool-headedness in the decisive rounds helped him conquer the top in South America.

Once again, Vietnamese golf is mentioned with pride. Khanh Hung's victory is not only a personal glory, but also a milestone for the strong integration journey of Vietnamese sports on the global stage.

Organized by the Colombian Golf Federation, Copa Juan Sebastian Munoz is an annual national junior championship, named after famous golfer Juan Sebastian Munoz - a member of the Torque GC team at LIV Golf. This year is the fourth time the tournament has been held, bringing together many potential young golfers from countries in the Latin American region.
