Schedule for announcing admission scores of Northern universities in 2025

By 5pm this afternoon (August 20), schools will enter their admission scores and admission results into the common system. After review, the first round of admission scores will have to be announced before 5pm on August 22.

Before 5pm on August 30, successful candidates must confirm their admission online on the system. If they do not do so within the deadline, they will be considered as refusing admission.

After confirming admission on the general system, candidates will receive an admission notice from the university. Candidates need to complete the admission procedures according to this notice from the school. This confirmation is different from the confirmation on the general system of the Ministry of Education and Training .

Failure to complete this step may result in denial of admission to some schools with specific requirements.

For candidates who did not pass the first round, they still have a chance in the supplementary admission round. At this time, candidates need to find out information about the supplementary admission at universities to find the most suitable choice for themselves.

As soon as schools announce the benchmark scores, candidates need to check whether their converted scores meet the standards or not. If the converted scores are equal to the benchmark scores, candidates need to check additional criteria as required by the school.

In many cases, candidates who meet the admission criteria are not included in the admission list because they do not meet the additional criteria. This happens when the number of candidates with the same final admission criteria exceeds the admission quota. The school will consider the additional criteria to decide which candidates are admitted.
