HNN.VN - On the afternoon of October 20, the Hue City Labor Federation launched a campaign to support people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters among civil servants, employees of agencies and affiliated units.

At the launching ceremony, the representative of the city's Labor Federation read a letter calling on agencies, unions, businesses, organizations and individuals to join hands to support people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of the city.

Immediately after that, the staff and employees of the City Labor Federation, the City Labor Culture House, and the No. 10 College of Technology each volunteered to donate one day's salary in order to share the difficulties with the people in the Northern provinces affected by the recent storms No. 10 and 11. As a result, more than 16 million VND was raised.

Mr. Le Minh Nhan, Vice Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the City Labor Federation, said that the entire amount will be transferred to the Office of the City Fatherland Front Committee to join hands with the whole province to share with the people of the Northern provinces. The City Labor Federation continues to call on civil servants, employees of agencies and affiliated units to continue to join hands to have more resources, contribute to sharing and encouraging people in the provinces affected by storms and floods to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
