The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said the 2025 International Puppetry Festival will be held from November 15 to 26 in Quang Ninh, with the participation of about 12-15 professional puppetry troupes from many countries and territories.

The host country Vietnam participated with typical units: Vietnam Puppetry Theatre, Thang Long Puppetry Theatre, Hai Phong Puppetry Troupe, Phuong Nam Art Theatre (HCMC) and Dong Nai Art Theatre. This is an opportunity for Vietnam to introduce the quintessence of traditional and modern puppetry, while enhancing exchanges and learning between domestic and international artists.
The 2025 International Puppetry Festival will also contribute to promoting the image of Vietnamese culture and tourism . Quang Ninh, with the famous heritage of Ha Long Bay, will be an attractive destination, introducing a country rich in cultural identity and hospitality to friends from all over the world.
