Tua Chua is one of two districts in the province with a flooded area in the Son La Hydropower Reservoir. The low-lying areas of Huoi So, Tua Thang and Sin Chai communes are submerged in the blue waters of the Da River. The undulating islands in the middle of the lake create a wild and charming landscape. Trung Thu commune has a high mountainous terrain with 47 hectares of pine hills; standing on the pine hills, you can see the flooded area of the hydroelectric reservoir. Po Chua Lu tourist site also cooperates with art troupes whenever tourists want to exchange and experience culture; cooperates with travel agencies, runs tours to attract visitors as well as widely promote the image of the land and people of Tua Chua. For tourists who want to experience ethnic cuisine or camping, the food supply system is the households in the village, currently the tourist site has cooperated with nearly 20 households, ensuring the supply of clean and safe food. From the above tourism development linkage model, it basically meets all the needs of tourists in their journey to explore and experience the culture, land and people in the locality.
