Some developments related to the Russia-Ukraine war:
Exposing Mr. Zelensky's "last card"
According to the French newspaper Valeurs Actuelles, President Zelensky wants NATO to directly participate in the conflict with Russia.
“ In the context of changed realities, Mr. Zelensky is playing the only card he has left: directly drawing NATO into the conflict, hoping that the spiral of weapons shipments authorized to attack Russian territory will cause a war with the Kremlin, which in turn will cause a war with Moscow ,” Valeurs Actuelles writes.
Valeurs Actuelles points out that the Ukrainian leader is aware that the conflict in Ukraine is not going in his favor, so he is trying to make desperate decisions.
Ukraine announces “victory plan”
President Zelensky recently held a meeting with the military command, where they prepared a military package to significantly strengthen Ukraine on the way to winning the war with Russia.
“ First, a meeting on the military content of our Victory Plan for Ukraine. I worked together with the military command. A good, strong content of the military package was prepared – exactly what could significantly strengthen Ukraine in accordance with the Victory Plan,” Zelensky said in a statement. However, Zelensky did not provide further information on this content.

Earlier, Mr. Zelensky announced that Ukraine's plan for victory in the war was 90% ready.
The issue that is currently highlighted is Mr. Zelensky's urging of the US and the West to use long-range missiles to strike deep into Russian territory. Some European countries are said to have agreed to this, but Germany and the US still do not allow it.
Foreign media said Mr. Zelensky needed to present a plan to US President Joe Biden for the US to consider this issue.
Russia claims progress in Zaporizhzhia
Vladimir Rogov, a senior official of the Russian-appointed Zaporizhzhia administration, said Russian troops were entering the Stepnogorsk settlement in Zaporizhzhia and gradually taking control of it.
“ The Russian army not only improved control of the situation on the front line, but also entered the settlement of Stepnogorsk on the Zaporizhzhia front. Our forces used high-explosive bombs when the enemy concentrated there ,” Mr. Rogov stressed.
According to him, Russian military operations in Stepnogorsk were also constantly harassed by Ukrainian artillery and UAVs.
Russia says it thwarted Ukraine assassination plot
The Federal Security Service (FSB) Public Relations Center announced that it had shot down a suspected Ukrainian spy, preventing an assassination attempt on the head of a defense enterprise in Sverdlovsk.
“ FSB has stopped the illegal activities of a Russian citizen born in 1984. This person is an agent of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and a member of a Ukrainian nationalist organization in Russia ,” the statement said.
Russian officials said the suspect had received instructions from Ukrainian intelligence to make an explosive device to plant in a car carrying a senior manager of a defense company in Sverdlovsk. The identity of the suspect and the target of the assassination plot have not been revealed by the FSB.
At the time investigators executed the arrest warrant, the suspect was hiding a homemade bomb in a camouflaged container. He was shot dead after drawing his weapon in resistance.
Ukraine has not commented on the above information.
