Study abroad in Australia with 700 million VND

VnExpressVnExpress22/12/2023

QTS Australia applies a financial support program, helping Vietnamese students study abroad with a budget of 700 million VND, at the same time, receive many benefits in Australia.

Accordingly, QTS Australia Education Organization will work with parents and students to plan finances for the entire process of studying abroad and after graduation through strategic cooperation with Australian universities and Maritime Bank Vietnam (MSB). The program supports students from the age of 16, the age at which they are encouraged to build future plans by the organization's Board of Professors.

Students from high school level start participating in the study abroad program of QTS Australia and have a detailed financial plan built, according to the needs and conditions of each individual. The unit aims to provide optimal financial solutions, opening up more study abroad opportunities for students by reducing the budget for studying abroad in Australia from 3-4 billion to 700 million VND.

In addition to ensuring financial resources, QTS Australia focuses on building a four-stage roadmap to ensure educational quality: improving English proficiency; equipping students with the ability to study abroad and planning to save money; transferring to universities in Australia and developing a full-time career after graduation.

At each stage, the unit will clearly state the goals, implementation methods and allocation of financial resources, benefits and values that Vietnamese students will enjoy throughout their study abroad journey.

In addition to taking certification exams to meet admission and visa requirements, "practical" English is one of the factors that determine the success or failure of a study abroad trip. Therefore, QTS Australia and the Board of Professors focus on improving foreign language skills with the QTS English Upgrade advanced English program. Students can study and communicate directly with native teachers through 1-1 classes, communication classes with classmates around the world and support from a team of Vietnamese consultants, thereby improving skills, thinking, and reflexes when using English.

By grade 11, students with an English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 continue to enter the second phase and complete the QTS Academic program in Vietnam in parallel with the high school program in two years. The program applies the "blended learning" method (online learning combined with direct learning) to reduce pressure on learners. The organization builds knowledge according to Australian national standards, complements the learning process at high school, and at the same time, equips skills equivalent to the first year at an Australian university.

"After graduating from the QTS Academic program, students are admitted directly to the second and third years of a bachelor's degree without having to take a supplementary course or consider high school scores. This helps international students save at least 1/3 of their study time abroad and 1-2 billion VND in study abroad costs," a representative of QTS Australia confirmed.

This is an important stage that makes the difference between QTS Australia Financial Support and other study abroad loan programs. Australia tightens student visas, QTS Academic certificate can be "proof" to prove the student's academic ability to international consulates and universities.

In addition, students have the opportunity to receive scholarships worth from 10% to 100% of the QTS Academic program tuition fees from the Australian Professors Scholarship Fund, including automatically considered scholarships.

During this period, the organization also helps students build and allocate detailed finances for the next two years of study in Australia and at least one year of work after graduation. If participating in the Financial Support for Overseas Study program from the age of 16, with the advantage of transferring, international students can graduate early at the age of 20. This helps them have more opportunities to find jobs, accumulate practical experience and increase their competitive advantage in the labor market compared to their peers, at the same time, increasing their chances of settling down.

Australia is also one of the countries with a fairly flexible part-time work policy for international students. International students aged 18 and over are allowed to work up to 48 hours every two weeks during the school term and unlimited hours during the holidays.

The statutory minimum wage for part-time work is AUD 882.80 per week or AUD 23.23 per hour. You are subject to personal income tax which ranges from 0% to 45% (with reasonable deductions).

"The average starting salary for students with a QTS Academic degree in Australia is 65,000 AUD a year or 33 AUD an hour. This figure is even higher if the international student has a lot of work experience," emphasized a representative of QTS Australia.

QTS Australia was established in Australia in 2006 and has been operating in Vietnam since 2015. The organization was founded and developed by a team of honorary professors from Australia, the US, Europe, and education and technology experts around the world. The unit operates for the purpose of developing education and the community, improving the quality of Vietnamese students and human resources through internationally recognized, internationally standardized study programs.
