Before starting her study abroad journey, Princess Ingrid Alexandra participated in military training at the Engineer Battalion of the Northern Brigade.

Princess Ingred Alexandra is the eldest child of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit. Princess Ingrid Alexandra's choice to study in Australia, instead of her usual European countries, is considered a bold decision, showing the princess's progressive spirit and openness in observing the world. During her studies, the princess will live in the school's dormitory.
