A series of leaders want to sell, SeABank Vice President suddenly buys up shares

Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( SeABank ) has just announced the stock trading results of Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Thi Nga. Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga has just successfully purchased 2 million SSB shares of SeABank.

The transaction was carried out on November 21-22. If calculated based on the closing price of SSB shares on November 22 (VND23,100/share), Ms. Nga had to spend VND46.2 billion to increase her ownership in the bank.

By increasing stock purchases, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga increased her ownership ratio at SeABank to 3.616%, equivalent to 88.729 million shares.

Ms. Nga's counterpart at SeABank and daughter, Ms. Le Thu Thuy, also owns more than 57,789 million shares, equivalent to 2.355% of the bank's charter capital.

In addition, Ms. Nga's son, Le Tuan Anh, holds more than 53.8 million SSB shares, equivalent to a 2.195% ownership ratio. Mr. Le Tuan Anh previously registered to sell 2 million SSB shares for the purpose of restructuring his personal finances.

In recent days, senior leaders at SeABank have registered to sell shares. The total number of SSB shares that the CEO and 7 deputy CEOs have registered to sell is more than 22 million, out of the total 24 million shares these individuals hold.

Of which, Mr. Le Quoc Long - acting General Director of SeABank - has just registered to sell more than 2.9 million out of the total 3.2 million SSB shares he holds. The transaction is expected to take place from November 22 to December 20.

Seven Deputy General Directors of SeABank, including Mr. Vu Dinh Khoan, Ms. Hoang Manh Phu, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quynh, Ms. Nguyen Tuan Cuong, Mr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Mr. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, and Ms. Dang Thu Trang, have registered to sell a large amount of shares this November and December.

Among them, the bosses who registered to sell the most were Mr. Vu Dinh Khoan, who registered to sell 5.1 million shares (out of a total of 5.3 million shares owned); Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Quynh, who registered to sell nearly 3.9 million shares (out of a total of 4.7 million shares held).

The leaders simultaneously registered to sell SSB shares in the context of this bank announcing the relaxation of conditions restricting the transfer of ESOP shares.

Previously, SeABank had two ESOP share issuances in 2021 with more than 23 million shares, priced at VND15,000-16,800/share, with transfer restrictions for 3 years; in 2022, SeABank continued to distribute about 59 million preferential shares to employees at VND15,000, with transfer restrictions for 1-2 years.
