Dung Quat Oil Refinery always focuses on encouraging and implementing technical innovation initiatives, contributing to improving production and business efficiency.
Specifically, the First Prize was awarded to author Vo Tan Phuong - Quality Management Board with the solution "Improving the method of analyzing Arsenic, Antimony (EPA 200.7 & 1311) in RFCC sample catalyst" in the field of Materials - Chemicals - Energy. This solution helps provide timely and accurate analysis results, thereby optimally serving the management and operation of Dung Quat Oil Refinery.
Two Second Prizes went to author Tran Thi Khanh Linh - Quality Management Board with the topic "Developing a method to analyze total chlorine and organic chlorine content to control the quality of raw materials in RFCC workshop" and author Hoang Ngoc Tu - Deputy Director of Dung Quat Oil Refinery with the topic "Research, evaluation, and improvement of total resource management solutions (ERP) and satellite IT tools". These are all highly practical solutions, contributing to improving the efficiency of raw material quality management as well as perfecting the modern management model and methods of BSR .
In the third prize group, author Le Quoc Viet - Research and Development Department with the topic "Changing the operating mode at the LCO-HDT workshop and blending Diesel products to save energy". Along with that, author Tran Quang Doanh - Production Operation Department was honored with the solution "Using a group of crude oils with high solubility index to replace chemicals to clean the TK-6001F tank", helping to shorten the time and reduce maintenance costs.
Three solutions were awarded the Encouragement Prize, namely the topic "Installing signal splitters and dataloggers to extract, collect, store and transmit cooling water monitoring data to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai province" by author Bui Quoc Phong - Environmental Safety Department; the solution "Installing temporary Boiler Feed Water (BFW) pipeline to put Economizer E-1525 into continuous operation of CO Boiler/Waste Heat Boiler (COB/WHB) and Electro-Static Precipitator (ESP) at RFCC workshop, Dung Quat Oil Refinery" by author Nguyen Thai Phuong - BSR Production Operation Department and the topic "Research and development of management tools, fully automating online bidding documents" by author Hoang Ngoc Tu - Deputy Director of Dung Quat Oil Refinery.
These initiatives have contributed to enriching BSR's "innovation bank", affirming the pioneering role in research, innovation and technical creation of the company's team of engineers and experts.
With 5 solutions winning First, Second and Third prizes of BSR being honored by the Organizing Committee to participate in the 18th National Technical Innovation Contest, BSR hopes to continue to reap high achievements, affirming the brand and reputation of a pioneer enterprise in the field of petrochemical refining in Vietnam.
The achievements that BSR has achieved at this competition continue to affirm the intelligence, spirit of innovation and continuous efforts in scientific and technological research of the team of BSR engineers and experts. The solutions not only bring scientific value, but also bring about clear economic efficiency, helping to improve management capacity and optimize factory operations.
