Mom's cup of coffee

Those were the days when my house was locked down because it was located in the epidemic area of ​​Di An city, Binh Duong . The habit of drinking a cup of coffee every morning suddenly stopped because I couldn't go to the shop, so my mother became an involuntary "barista".

The coffee my mother brewed for me was grown by my family in Ea H'Leo district, Dak Lak, then roasted and ground by myself and sent down. It might not be as good as the coffee mixed with premium coffee to enhance the flavor, but it was surprisingly delicious because it "saved my addiction" and above all, it was brewed by my mother herself.

Every morning, sitting on the porch with the door slightly open and looking out at the street, I feel strangely sad. The street is deserted, no one is passing by, everything is quiet as if life is slowing down. I sip a cup of coffee and reminisce about the days when the streets were crowded and hope that life will soon return to normal.

This morning's cup of coffee may taste better, but on March 8th, I remember my mother's cup of coffee in those days. In my mother's cup of coffee, there is love and care, especially because my mother knows that her child is addicted to coffee, so she makes it more carefully and stronger. That flavor can be recreated by my mother, but that space will never exist.

In Ho Chi Minh City, it is very common to see someone sitting next to a cup of coffee and enjoying a sandwich, sometimes it is even an elegant hobby of many people. For me too, I like the feeling of watching the bustling flow of people passing by and then getting ready for a new day full of energy.

Or sitting with friends in the morning, sipping coffee with a sandwich and chatting about new plans is also good, a cup of coffee is like a connection to bring people closer together.
