
Information from the International Trade Center (ITC) shows that in the first 7 months of 2025, Thailand's coffee imports reached 21.7 thousand tons, worth 104.8 million USD, down 38.1% in volume and 19.9% in value compared to the same period in 2024. In the first 7 months of 2025, the average import price of coffee into Thailand reached 4,821 USD/ton, up 29.3% over the same period in 2024.
The average price of Thai coffee imports from Vietnam increased by 54.4% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 5,352 USD/ton. However, the market share of Vietnamese coffee in Thailand's total imports decreased from 67.11% in the first 7 months of 2024 to 25.9% in the first 7 months of 2025.
While Vietnam's coffee market share in Thailand has declined sharply, the coffee market shares of Laos and Indonesia have expanded significantly. Laos has emerged as the largest coffee supplier to Thailand in the first 7 months of 2025, reaching 11,100 tons, worth 38.3 million USD, up 12.5% in volume and 14.7% in value over the same period in 2024. Laos' coffee market share in Thailand's total imports has increased from 28.18% in the first 7 months of 2024 to 51.18% in the first 7 months of 2025.
