(Dan Tri) - In mid-April, cherry blossoms suddenly bloomed in many streets and parks, dyeing the sky pink, delighting locals and tourists.

Since mid-April, cherry blossoms on the streets of Da Lat ( Lam Dong ) such as Ho Tung Mau, Le Dai Hanh, Bui Thi Xuan, Pham Ngu Lao... have suddenly bloomed, making locals and tourists both surprised and excited.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu, a resident of Bui Thi Xuan Street (Ward 2, Da Lat City) said: "Normally, Da Lat cherry blossoms bloom on the occasion of Lunar New Year or maybe 1 month earlier or later than Tet. However, this year, cherry blossoms bloomed nearly 3 months after Lunar New Year. This is strange."

According to local residents, the cherry blossom trees on Bui Thi Xuan Street shed their leaves many months ago, but only now are they blooming.

Also at this time, the cherry blossom trees in the campus of Dalat University bloomed together, making the lecture hall space become dreamy. Many cherry blossom trees are decades old, with rough trunks but still produce brilliant flowers and green buds.

Tourist Mai Thi Ngoc Anh (59 years old, residing in Phan Rang - Thap Cham city, Ninh Thuan ) said that through social networking sites, she knew that cherry blossoms in Da Lat bloom in mid-April, so she went to Da Lat with her friends to enjoy them. "I was extremely surprised when cherry blossoms bloomed at this time. Last month, I went to Da Lat to travel and visit many places, but when I knew that cherry blossoms were blooming, I returned to Da Lat."

At Lam Vien Square, the cherry blossoms are also blooming, dyeing the sky pink. Currently, Da Lat is entering the peak of the dry season, the temperature difference between day and night is quite large. Mr. Nguyen Danh Hung, a resident of Ward 8, Da Lat shared: "At night, the temperature drops to 14-15 degrees Celsius, by noon, the temperature increases to 27-28 degrees Celsius. Occasionally there are sudden rains or hail".

"I came to Da Lat for a 3-day trip and was lucky to see the cherry blossoms blooming. The climate in Da Lat is cool and fresh, so I really like it," said tourist Cao Thi My Hanh, 29, a resident of Quang Tho commune, Quang Dien, Thua Thien Hue .
