These days, on many streets of Da Lat such as: Tran Hung Dao, Hung Vuong, Tran Quoc Toan, Co Giang, Co Bac, Tuong Pho, To Hieu..., cherry blossoms have bloomed in brilliant pink. These are inner-city streets, right in the center of the mountain town, very convenient for tourists to visit and take souvenir photos.

Although the Tet holiday has ended, many tourists , especially young people, still choose to go to Da Lat to see the cherry blossoms. Phan Nghi Tuyen (a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) shared that she and her close friends decided to travel to Da Lat after Tet to see the cherry blossoms in time, avoiding the overcrowding during peak days. "My group has booked a room until the end of this week to take advantage of traveling around Da Lat. These days, the cool weather and beautiful sunshine are very convenient for traveling by motorbike," Nghi Tuyen excitedly said.

According to statistics from the Department of Culture and Information of Da Lat City, although it was after the Tet holiday, the number of visitors to Da Lat in the past few days still increased; on average, more than 21,000 visitors per day. The total number of visitors to the locality from February 8 to 18 (ie December 29, the year of the Cat to January 9, the year of the Dragon) is estimated at 323,000 people (overstayed guests reached 242,250 people), of which international visitors reached 25,200 people; domestic visitors reached 297,800 people.

Cherry blossoms, scientifically known as Prunus cerasoides, are widely grown in Da Lat City and Lac Duong District. The flower with its characteristic light pink color blooms once a year, before or after the Lunar New Year, adding to the dreamy beauty of Da Lat mountain town.
