According to the Manchester Evening News, Man Utd owners Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the Glazer Amorim family have decided to be patient with the case of coach Amorim, who has a contract until 2027. A close source even expressed surprise that his position has not really been put in a state of alarm.

Sky Sports also revealed that Sir Jim Ratcliffe still has faith in Amorim, but is still capable of firing the Portuguese strategist if the situation does not improve.
Journalist Kaveh Solhekol commented: “If they continue to play like this, they will most likely finish in the bottom half of the table, like last season. And if that scenario happens, INEOS (headed by Sir Jim Ratcliffe) can absolutely make the decision to change the coach, like they did with coach Ten Hag last November when the team finished 14th.”
