As the Lunar New Year At Ty is approaching, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province is actively coordinating with socio-political organizations to mobilize organizations, individuals, and philanthropists to organize activities to care for the poor and people in difficult circumstances, ensuring that everyone and every family has a full and joyful New Year.
In recent days, many meaningful Tet gifts have been given directly to the poor by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province. With the support of the Southern Power Corporation, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province has just presented 20 bicycles to poor but studious students, each worth 1.8 million VND and 100 gifts including rice, some necessities, candies worth 1 million VND and 200,000 VND in cash to the Raglay ethnic people in Phuoc Khang commune (Thuan Bac district) to help them have more conditions to enjoy the spring and welcome the traditional Tet holiday.
In addition to prioritizing resources from the “For the Poor” Fund to give Tet gifts to people in difficult circumstances, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Ninh Thuan province also coordinate with the Red Cross Society and organizations to mobilize resources in cash and in kind to organize the “Charitable Tet” movement to give gifts to the poor and disadvantaged people in society. During the At Ty Tet holiday, the Red Cross Society at all levels in Ninh Thuan province strives to give about 14,500 gifts to the poor, those in difficult circumstances, and vulnerable people with a total value of over 5 billion VND.
Mr. Le Van Binh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province said that in recent times, the activities of caring for the poor have been implemented by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and member organizations of the Front through meaningful activities such as giving gifts, building Great Unity houses, supporting livelihoods for the poor. In 2024, the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee at all levels received donations from agencies, units, businesses, individuals, and philanthropists with an amount of over 23.5 billion VND. From the above resources, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels has allocated a total amount of more than 31 billion VND, including support for the construction of 458 Great Unity houses with a total amount of 26.8 billion VND; repairing 10 houses with a cost of 210 million VND; giving Tet gifts, granting livelihoods, supporting disadvantaged families... with an amount of over 3 billion VND.

With the goal of about 160 Great Solidarity houses being handed over before the Lunar New Year 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province has directed the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ninh Phuoc, Ninh Son, Ninh Hai, Thuan Bac, Thuan Nam districts to urgently coordinate with relevant sectors and units to review and urge the acceleration of construction progress to help people welcome a more meaningful and warm Tet in new, spacious houses.
