The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Lu Van Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ca Mau province; Mr. Huynh Chi Nguyen, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Le Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group ( Petrovietnam ).
During more than 17 years of development, BSR - the unit managing and operating Dung Quat Oil Refinery - has affirmed its core role in the refining and petrochemical industry, making great contributions to national energy security and the State budget.
With PVCFC, after more than 14 years of establishment and development, the enterprise has become a leading fertilizer manufacturer, accompanying millions of farmers nationwide. Originating from the petrochemical industry, PVCFC continuously researches and applies modern technology to provide high-quality nutritional products for crops, aiming for green, sustainable agriculture and ensuring national food security.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Van Tien Thanh, General Director of PVCFC said: implementing the Group's direction and orientation on strengthening cooperation between units in the industry to create new momentum and breakthroughs for development, the two units have had many working sessions, exchanges, and sought opportunities and areas of cooperation.
He affirmed: “Today’s cooperation agreement is the first step for in-depth cooperation activities. Along with the Group’s strategic orientation in forming an Eco-energy Industrial Center in Ca Mau, PVCFC and BSR will continue to actively seek effective cooperation opportunities in the coming time.”
Mr. Bui Ngoc Duong, Chairman of BSR Board of Directors, said that BSR and PVCFC have had many effective sharing and cooperation in factory operation and maintenance, governance model, and digital transformation. The signing of this MOU will help both sides promote their advantages, optimize resources, improve production and business efficiency, especially in investment cooperation in green projects.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the two enterprises will enhance the exchange of experiences, coordinate research and technology application, and maximize the strengths in production, supply and services. Cooperation also opens up prospects in innovation, new product development and business solutions associated with the trend of greening, digitalization and sustainability.
The event was welcomed by Petrovietnam Chairman of the Board of Directors Le Manh Hung and highly appreciated the proactive spirit of cooperation between the two units. The leaders of PVCFC and BSR both expressed their determination and commitment to implement the MOU in a practical manner, bringing about specific results in the coming time.
