The Front will supervise the settlement of administrative procedures when implementing two-level local government.

On October 3, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a consultation conference with socio-political organizations to agree on the contents of the 2026 social supervision and criticism plan of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

According to the monitoring plan of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in 2026, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will implement 6 contents: digital transformation, application of science and technology, comprehensive innovation in handling administrative procedures, providing public services in localities when implementing the arrangement of administrative units at provincial and commune levels and the implementation of the 2-level local government model; implementing democracy at the grassroots level (associated with monitoring the responsibilities of the head); monitoring the implementation of the national target program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2026; implementing the national target program on new rural construction and sustainable poverty reduction for the period 2026 - 2035; some complaints and denunciations when there is a practical request according to the coordination program between the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Government Inspectorate, the Ministry of Justice , the Vietnam Lawyers Association and the Vietnam Bar Federation (if any); participate in supervision with the supervision delegations of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee and the supervision plans of relevant agencies.

Regarding social criticism, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will preside over social criticism of draft laws, including: Law on Belief and Religion (amended); Law on Procedures for Issuing Administrative Decisions; Law on Access to Information (amended); Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Housing (amended); Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Real Estate Business (amended); Draft Law on Mediation at Grassroots Level (amended); Law on Civil Status (amended).

At the conference, opinions said that the monitoring and feedback plan needs to be implemented specifically, closely coordinated, ensuring quality and progress as required; the implementation process needs to ensure efficiency, economy, avoid waste, avoid duplication in terms of areas and subjects of monitoring delegations; improve the quality of social feedback on the legislative process and supervision of law implementation.

Besides, create a mechanism to mobilize the participation of experts, scientists , people with practical experience and the participation of the people.
