Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Thuan ward successfully organized the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030

On September 26, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Thuan Ward held its first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. This is the unit selected by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee to direct the Commune-level Fatherland Front Congress, which was connected online to 119 points of connection in communes and wards in the province.

Binh Thuan Ward was established on the basis of merging Thai Long commune and Doi Can ward according to the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee and decisions of competent authorities. After the arrangement, the ward has a natural area of ​​46.34 km2, including 29 residential groups, with 4,634 households, over 18,262 people, 15 ethnic groups living together.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Thuan ward coordinated with the government and member organizations to propagate and mobilize people to carry out patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, attracting a large number of people to participate. Highlights: Mobilizing support for the renovation and repair of 12 houses for poor households and households in difficult circumstances (including the renovation of 10 houses and the repair of 2 houses); mobilizing people to contribute over 450 working days and over 200 million VND to concretize 1,000m of rural roads, install 45 lighting bulbs, plant 1,500m of new flower roads and repair and upgrade 2 cultural houses; organized 2 dialogues; 29 conferences to collect people's opinions on the project to merge provincial and commune-level administrative units with over 8,000 participants, contributing over 150 opinions; organized 3 monitoring sessions, 2 social criticism conferences.

With the theme "Promoting the strength of great national unity; improving the quality and effectiveness of the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations; striving to build Binh Thuan ward to meet civilized urban standards" and the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress identified 12 targets and 6 action programs for the term 2025 - 2030. The Congress called on all cadres, union members, association members and people of all ethnic groups in the ward to unite, join hands, overcome challenges, determined to successfully carry out development tasks, economic, cultural and social, contributing to building Binh Thuan ward to develop sustainably.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged, commended and congratulated the results achieved by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thuan Ward in the past term. He also frankly pointed out a number of shortcomings that need to be overcome to meet new practical requirements.

The Congress elected the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thuan Ward, term I, 2025-2030, consisting of 62 members; and elected a delegation to attend the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tuyen Quang Province. At the first conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thuan Ward elected the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward, consisting of 5 members; and elected Mr. Hoang Trung Tuyen to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward, term I, 2025-2030.

Immediately after the Congress ended, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee held a Conference to evaluate and draw experience from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress in Binh Thuan Ward.
