The only iPhone 17 Pro Max model still available but not many customers buy it in Vietnam

(Dan Tri) - The dark blue iPhone 17 Pro Max with 2TB storage is still available for immediate delivery on September 19, but few Vietnamese people choose it.

On the evening of September 12, Apple and its authorized dealers in Vietnam opened the portal to take orders for the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air product lines. To date, most versions of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have fallen into a state of being out of stock.

On Apple's online store, users who order the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in space orange and silver are currently having to wait 3-4 weeks to receive their devices.

Meanwhile, the blue-black version received little attention from customers. The same was also recorded at the company's authorized dealers when the pre-order rate for the blue-black version was the lowest.

On Apple Store Online, the 2TB iPhone 17 Pro Max in dark blue is the only version available for immediate delivery on September 19.

Talking to Dan Tri reporters, many retail systems said that iPhone models with large storage capacities such as 1-2TB often receive little attention from Vietnamese users. The main reason comes from the significantly higher selling price, while ordinary users do not have too much storage needs.

"Versions with large storage like 1-2TB will be suitable for users who do creative work, often take photos or record high-quality videos . Therefore, the device will not be for the majority of basic users," said Mr. Nguyen Van Giau, representative of the My Mobile system.

This is the first year that Apple has equipped the iPhone 17 Pro Max with 2TB of storage. This device costs up to 64 million VND, 26 million VND higher than the standard 256GB version. This is also the iPhone that Apple has priced the most to date.

Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, media representative of CellphoneS, said that by the end of September 14, this system recorded nearly 20,000 orders that customers had placed deposits on. For the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, most customers in the first deposit batch were interested in the cosmic orange version.

The shopping trend is similar to previous years. Vietnamese users still prioritize choosing the most advanced iPhone versions and new colors to experience technology and design.

"The number of customers registering information and pre-ordering the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air generations has increased significantly compared to the same period last year. Batches will be distributed continuously, ensuring that customers can receive their devices in the most reasonable time," said a representative of the Minh Tuan Mobile system.
